This collection was inspired by my mom's flower gardens.  She had more flower gardens than I could count.  Every space in our front and back yards were full of flowers and shrubbery and bird feeders!  

She knew the names of every plant and she would tell you all about them.  Every season was a riot of color and shapes.  

These paintings feature cosmos, zinnias, hydrangeas, cone flowers, sunflowers and chrysanthemums.  All on a rich blue background and all sides painted so you never have to frame your painting.

She's 92 this year, healthy as can be, and still plants flowers in every space she can find!
