I have the best morning commute.  I drive over this ridge in the Roanoke valley and the sky opens up and the mountains surround me.  Everyday the sky is a different color which makes the mountains a different color.  And it never gets old.  Beautiful pink sunrises, smoky foggy mornings, or gray, heavy rain clouds - the view is always spectacular

 The Blue Ridge Mountains have a special place in my  heart.  I grew up here.  We spent our family vacations in the mountains of Asheville NC.  Growing up I taught tennis in summer camps in Grundy, VA and White Sulphur Springs, WV.  Over every ridge is another stunning view.  Every morning, afternoon and evening brings a sky with colors you wouldn't believe.  Everyone who lives here has said - "hey, come out here and look at this sky!"  Now, I live in Salem, right outside of Roanoke, VA.  And the views and the mountains and the skies never get old.
